(Air Force Common Admission Test) AFCAT 2012 written exam would be conducted on 26 August 2012. The last date to apply for AFCAT 2012 Exam is 9 July 2012.
What is AFCAT ?
AFCAT is an Air Force Common Admission Test which is conducted twice in a year by IAF (Indian Air Force) for recruiting Indian Male and Female citizens in three branches. The three branches in Indian Air Force are Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duty Branch.

The total number of vacancies and afcat recruitment details are as follows:
1. Flying Branch - 41.
2. Technical branch – 55.
3. Ground Duty Branch – 43.
